How it started
What began with one 3D printer and an enthusiastic passion for design in 2020 has grown to a total of eight machines with five different models comprised of both filament and resin capabilities to meet the various challenges across a spectrum of projects. We've designed, 3D printed, and sold thousands of items.

It is an exciting time to be emersed in this developing technology and with our processes streamlined and deep knowledge of our production capabilities, we are offering our 3D print manufacturing and design services to businesses and individuals that will benefit from our expertise.
Who we are
3DI was founded in Indianapolis by David Pancake & Chris French. Both are technology enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with extensive experience using leading edge software applications and emerging technologies. Chris has worked across the technology spectrum with special emphasis on big data and business intelligence systems. David is a multiplatform, multimedium design expert and leading 3D print engineer. Together we look to earn your business with integrity, quality, and passion.
What We Do
3D Print Prototyping
We'll take your STL design file and 3D print your prototype in the desired material, dimensions, and specifications. We also offer custom painting.
Custom Design Consulting
Our in-house designer is world class in ZBrush and Nomad Sculpt to create a printable STL file per your specifications.
3D Printing Production
We'll ramp up inventory of your 3D printable items as needed or on a regular schedule with our 3D print farm.
Working with 3DI
We recognize that every client need and project is different. When you partner with 3DI for your 3D design and/or 3D print jobs, we will get to know you, what you need, and work out a plan to meet your requirements.
Who We Work With
Our clients vary and we can accommodate size and scope within the capacity of our machinery. We're a smaller boutique shop with focus on quality over quantity. We've worked with artists to print original sculpts, RPG and tabletop gamers, and cosplayers. We can 3D print original components or replacement parts. Generally, we work with tinkerers, inventors, enthusiasts, and all sorts of creative people.
